I.C.E. or In Case of Emergency Box was created to enhance thr response time againts Fire Emergencies in the Philippines.
In the 1980’s Fire Boxes were hung around Old Manila wherein if a fire should occur, the fire fighters would immediately be informed of the exact location of the Fire Box that was triggered.
Inspired by how the old fire boxes work, TXTFIRE PHILIPPINES FOUNDATION INC., created the TXTFIRE ICEBOX. With the ICEBOX, Fire Volunteers and the Government Fire Service is now informed of Fire Incidents within seconds, of pressing the Emergency Button. Informing the fire sevice the exact location, the owners name, contact details and so on…
Also, TXTFIRE added another innovation wherein 5 assignees from the establishment where the icebox is installed shall be notified if the ICEBOX has been triggered and notifying them at the same time that fire fighters are on the way.
