🔥 Purpose

The TXTFire Philippines Volunteer Photo Contest aims to showcase the dedication, bravery, and teamwork of our volunteers through authentic and inspiring photography.

đź“… Eligibility

  1. Open only to active TXTFire Philippines Members.
  2. Each participant must be a registered Members at the time of submission.

     Participants may submit a maximum of three (3) entries.

  3. Must be within  Fire Operation during January 1 2025 onwards.

     

📸 Photo Guidelines

  1. Photos must depict TXTFire Volunteer Fire Operations
  2. Entries must be original, unedited, and taken by the submitting volunteer.
  3. AI-generated, AI-enhanced, or digitally manipulated photos are strictly prohibited.
    • This includes the use of AI image generators (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, etc.)
    • Photos that are composited, color-altered, or heavily filtered (beyond basic brightness/cropping) are not allowed.
  4. Cropping will be allowed
  5. Photos must not contain watermarks, logos, or text overlays.
  6. Must have the original copy for verification

     

🧾 Submission Requirements

  1. Submit entries in JPEG with a minimum resolution of 8 megapixels
  2. Include the following details with each photo:
    • Volunteer’s full name
    • Volunteer’s callsign and group
    • Caption or short description (max 50 words)
    • Date and location of the photo
  3. Entries must be submitted through the official TXTFire submission form or email (details to be provided by organizers).

     

⚖️ Judging Criteria

  • Relevance to Theme (30%) – Reflects the spirit of volunteerism and fire safety.
  • Creativity (25%) – Unique perspective or storytelling.
  • Technical Quality (25%) – Clarity, composition, and overall visual appeal.
  • Emotional Impact (20%) – The ability to inspire or move the viewer.

     

đźš« Disqualification

Entries will be disqualified if they:

  • Are AI-generated or digitally altered beyond minor edits.
  • Contain offensive, unsafe, or misleading content.
  • Are plagiarized or previously published for another contest.

     

⚠️ Rights and Use

By submitting an entry, participants grant TXTFire Philippines the non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, and publish the photos for advocacy, training, and promotional purposes, with proper credit to the photographer.

Participation in the contest implies full acceptance of these rules. TXTFire Philippines reserves the right to interpret, modify, or cancel any part of the contest guidelines as necessary.
