The 11th TXTFIRELYMPICS 2026 has come to a successful conclusion, marking another milestone in TXTFIRE Philippines’ continuing mission of promoting camaraderie, preparedness, teamwork, and excellence among volunteer fire brigades across the country.
To many, the event was a single afternoon of exciting competitions, demonstrations, and fellowship. Behind every race, every whistle, every finish line, and every award ceremony, however, were months and months of preparation that began as early as last year.
Organizing an event of this scale required hundreds of volunteer hours devoted to planning meetings, venue inspections, logistics coordination, equipment preparation, safety planning, program development, supplier management, and countless last-minute adjustments. Like every large-scale undertaking, challenges arose throughout the process.
Global uncertainties affected logistics, sponsorships, and participation. As event day drew near, Mother Nature presented another obstacle as heavy rains, storms, and typhoon conditions threatened the successful staging of the games. Despite these challenges, the organizing committee remained committed to delivering an event that was safe, meaningful, and worthy of the country’s volunteer fire service.
Through teamwork, determination, and the collective efforts of everyone involved, the 11th TXTFIRELYMPICS was successfully held.
TXTFIRE Philippines extends its sincere appreciation to Event Chairman Alex Andrei R. Pasion, Games Committee Chairman Eagle Larry Salas, Events Director Criz Ah, and TXTFIRELYMPICS Technical Director Bryan Kevin Chua for their leadership throughout the planning and execution of the event.
We likewise recognize the invaluable contributions of the Executive Team, committee chairpersons, secretariat, judges, referees, marshals, timekeepers, medical teams, safety officers, documentation teams, photographers, volunteers, and every individual who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. While not every name appears in this article, every contribution played an important role in making this year’s TXTFIRELYMPICS a success.
Special recognition is given to the Binondo Paco Volunteer Fire Search and Rescue Brigade, whose members served as one of the driving forces behind this year’s event. For months, they dedicated countless hours to planning, transporting equipment, venue preparation, setup, troubleshooting, operations, and teardown. Their willingness to serve without seeking recognition exemplifies the true spirit of volunteerism.
To every participating volunteer fire brigade from across the Philippines, thank you for making the journey despite the difficult weather conditions. Your professionalism, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship continue to strengthen the volunteer fire service and inspire future generations of volunteers.
Congratulations to all the champions, finalists, and participating teams. While trophies recognize outstanding performances, the true success of TXTFIRELYMPICS lies in the friendships strengthened, lessons learned, and the shared commitment to protecting our communities.
